Sustainable development can be considered as a development of the present generation keeping in mind the needs and requirements of future generation. Excessive use of any resource beyond the rate at which they are renewed or replenished in environment can lead to their shortage in coming future. So we must be rational in using such resources which are not renewed easily or rapidly and focus more on using renewable resources which are easily replenished and in this way we will save enough for the future generations to come.

In the present scenario we are on a completely different path compared to sustainable development. Though many organisation and countries are trying to implement sustainable development but considering our planet as a whole, it requires a larger and united effort to be sustained.

There are many facts and instances which show that we are on the wrong path. For instance we mostly rely on fossil fuels such as coal, petroleum, natural gas as major source of energy. Day by day due to their increasing scarcity we can see that their prices are surging and in the not too distant future these fuels will be extinguished and there will be nothing left for the future generation. Another fact that we can take into account is the global warming. Most industries and factories are emitting greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which are accounting for global warming. Though there are certain taxes they have to pay with regards to their emission but money cannot justify the environmental impacts that the emissions are having. Many research and studies show that at the current rate of global warming many climatic changes will occur causing many species to become extinct and thus our coming generations would have to live or survive in a hazardous environment that we will be leaving for them.

Although many efforts are taking place to shift our mode to sustainable development but it will take each and every individual from a small scale to a large scale to make it effective.

A.) A challenge gaining prominence throughout the planet is the increased need for "green" or sustainable energy. An average wind turbine, the device which converts rotational motion to electricity, has a maximum capacity of 1.80 MW1.80 MW . However, the wind turbine realistically never runs at full power.
