Recently, my ring finger of the righthand got fractured. The bone got broke from the joint and was not in the normal position but was a little bit coming out slanted. I did not feel any pain though. After a while, my finger got swollen. Then only I noticed that something is wrong with my finger. We went to the clinic that is on the panel of our organisation's medical facility. Immediately we got the X-ray imaging done which made it clear that the finger was broken from the joint. Then we needed to see an orthopedic doctor as the orthopedic doctor specializes in bone-related diseases. The doctor told me to take few medicines and come after one week. I was not satisfied with the line of treatment this particular doctor charted out for me. I found out from some seniors about the other orthopedic doctor and visited him. He immediately scheduled me for the surgery of my finger. I researched about the hospital where my surgery was scheduled and found satisfactory reports from people. So I underwent surgery and two wires were put in my finger to secure the broken joint. I did feel any pain after this procedure. I was told to come back after a week for the next three weeks. I was also put on some medications. The barriers that I encountered in seeking treatments were that the equipment was not working properly and secondly the person in charge was not found on his duty. Some of the staff at the hospital was not cooperative. The nurses were busy in gossiping. I just kept my patience during such time.
