Forearm extended muscle activated - Triceps brachii muscle is mainly role to extend the forearm.
Action of muscle - TRIceps muscle help to extends elbow and shoulder. They are consist of three heads.
Long head - the long head originated from infraglenoid tubercle of scapula, shoulder capsule.
Lateral head - lateral to spiral groove on posterior surface of humerus.
Medial head - medial to siral groove on posterior surface of humerus
Insertion - all heads insert to the upper surface of olecranon, deep fascia of forearm
Finger extended and splayed - Extensor digitorum are used to extend and splayed the fingers
Action of muscle - Extensor digitorum help to the extend and splayed finger the origin of the muscle is lateral epicondyle via common extensor tendon, intermuscular septa The insertion of the lateral and dorsal surfaces of seconds to fifth digit
Fingers retracted muscle activated to the flexor digitorum profundus help to fingers retration
Action of muscle - these muscle is action to the fingers retration the origin from medial side of coronoid process of ulna and insertion to base of palmar surface of distal phalanx of second to fifth digits
Forearm pressed down upon muscle activated to Pronator teres and quadratus muscles
action of muscle - these muscles help to the forearm pressed down upon
Elblow bend muscle activated is brachialis
action of muscle is help to flexes the elbow
Arm raised to side with heavy muscles help to carry the weight
Arm extended back with heavy object - the muscle activation is the Triceps brachii
Action of muscle - triceps brachii is a large group of back muscle in the back of the upper arm helps straighten the arm.
