Research is the study of a specific area or subject to increase knowledge and use the knowledge further in our area of expertise. Research is done on a particular topic or subject hence the researcher should be clear on what topic his researched has to be based. That is the research idea. The idea should be such that interests the researcher and is prctically workable for him. The research will based on that idea and any further questions from the research should be solvable too. Idea helps the researcher to identify the topic he wants to research on and based on the ide review the literature, examine the material of research and look for any area of improvement in the research.

Speculations are based on guesswork and not practical facts. Research is a wide study that reviews every aspect of the topic it is made on. Hence though it is based on facts and figures from the past researches or studies but speculations are made were the facts are not certain and cannot be a basis for future. Hence speculative researches are done on uncertain topics. Speculation helps in recognizing the incomplete character of the subject and helps as a tool to develop thinking and research approaches of that which is not existing.
