Aviation environmental sustainability is the way to improve the environmental efficiency and sustainability through the contribution of aviation sector. Aviation is one of the few sectors which has ambitious Global goals and strategy for reducing the impact on environment and improving the climate change process. A few years before aviation industry presented the world's first Global transport sector framework for environment based on short term goals, progress and how the industry is achieving this. The aviation industry is one of the few industries in the world which has made significant contribution in fuel and carbon dioxide efficiency, reducing the amount of fuel used per flight compared to 1990. Today an average flight generates 50% less carbon dioxide as compared to the same flight back in the year 1990. This has been possible because of the technological advancement and improvement in the infrastructure and operation and a broad vision to contribute to the sustainability of the environment. As a matter of fact although the overall emission from the aviation sector has decreased because of the volume of traffic which has increased both in terms of passenger and cargo but most of the improvement and growth has occurred in the emergency economies as they began to reap the profitability of air travel and this has led to contribution towards a sustain environment.
