Yes, it is surprising to see the increase in number of hate groups in our country. A hate group is basically a social group that advocates and practices hatred, hostility, or violence towards members of a race, ethnicity, nation, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or any other designated sector of society. A number of reasons play crucial role in the increase in number of hate groups or hate crimes. Some are mentioned below:

Inequality: Our society does not let people to enjoy equal rights and values. This is created a outrage in the indiviuals. This is most prevalent in muslim society. The most significant rise has been noticed in Anti-muslim hate groups.
Lack of resources: People are not properly educated, they are leading a poor life with no lifestyle. These factor smake them more vulnerable to jon teh nati-government hate crime.
Racisim: Racisim is also one importnat factor which marke sthe begining of the hate crime in the United States.
