In today’s workplace managers must learn how to motivate and inspire different generations to be successful. With this in mind, what should Baby-Boomers know about members of the Millennial generation to best manage them in the workplace?
Age is important factor of workplace diversity.Age is something that build your thinking and behaviour .It creates a workplace diversity but for a manager to learn how to deal wth workplace diversity still a challenge.
To motivate and inspire different generation of employers we ha e to follows following criteria:
*Assign mentors:
Cross generation mixing can be difficult but In order to close any generation barrier facilitate mentorship between older terms members and young team members.
*provide equal opportunity ;It does not matter employees is in company from ten years or he is just new in the company.manager must be provide equal opportunity to employees.
*Allow communication:It's is important to allow communication that tends to vary from generation to generation.senior generation like to communicate face to face where as young generation like to communicate via video calling or by phone call.
