the sewage discharged into marine bodies cause effects like eutrophication (increased nutrient content) thus becomes the heaven land for bacterias and viruses which grow exponentially and if such water is used can lead to epidemic in the community. also the sewage discharge to water bodies cause high threat to fishes and can cause biomagnefication.
