Human reproduction
- Humans are sexually reproducing
organism with viviparous nature.
- Humans diocecious animals which
also shows sexual dimorphism.
Male reproductive system-
- The male reproductive organs
present at pelvic region. It include testis, accessory gland and
external genitelia.
- Testes situated outside the
abdominal cavity in a pauch like structure .
- The pauch like structure helps in
maintaining the low temperature of testes which is necessary for
spermatogenesis.
- Each testis has about 250
compartido like structure called seminiferous tubules. Seminiferous
tubules internally line by two type cell called male germ cell and
Sertoli cell.
- Region outside the seminiferous
called interstitial space which contain small blood vessels and
interstitial cells or leydig cells. Leydig cells severe male
androgen or testosterone.
- The male accessory ducts include
testis, vasa efferentia, vas deferens, epididymis.
- The male accessory gland include
paired seminal vesicles, a prostate and paired bulbourethral
gland.
- Copulatory organ also present as
external genitelia.
Female reproductive system
- The female reproductive consists of
a pair of ovary, one pair oviduct, a uterus, a vagina, external
genitelia and pair of mammary gland.
- The ovaries produce the female
gamete and some steroid hormone such as estrogen,
progesterone.
- Ovarian follicle present in
different stage of development are embedded in stroma
- The oviducts, uterus and vagia are
female accessory ducts.the uterus has three layer called
perimetrium, mesometrium and endometrium.
- The female external genitilia
includes mons pubis, labia majora, labia minora, hymen and
clitoris.
- The mammary glands are one of the
female sexaual characteristics.
