Explain how the Two-Factor Theory of Emotion explains how two people could both be accidentally injected with a stimulant but one becomes angry and the other one does not. Be sure to explain the details of the theory and to use and explain the term misattribution of arousal in your answer.
Two factor theory of emotions indicates that there are two factors in the entire process of reactions which causes after an event occours . These two factors are physiological reactions and emotional reactions. After an event takes place first bodily reactions takes place i.e. physiological reactions like muscle stress, tensions etc and then brain interprets it and gaves emotional reactions.
Among the psychologists, there are arguments in this two factor that which factor comes first i.e. its the bodily reactions for which we feel reactions or its the emotional reactions for which we feel bodily reactions.
Anyhow , these physiological reactions and emotional reactions varies greatly from one person to another person. It depends on the inner traits and social self . For example if a person able to hold himself straight in case of any fearful event that means his physiological reaction is less than a person who is afraid of the situation, thus stimulants applied also works differently in between persons.
Misattribution is of arousal is a confused state in any person where person is unable to understand what causes the person emotions or some sort of arousal. Thus is it attributing an event or situation for which actually it has not caused. For example misattribution of over confidence in anything after drinking alcohol misleaded with the unknown fear of doing or achieving a new things in life.
