For an effective speaker the most important goal is to give an mind blowing and an effective speech.

The most important technique is to practice your speech to get confidence to speak infront of a crowd. Unless we practice the speech we won't have the courage to speak infront of a crowd because suddenly when we have to address a crowd it will be really difficult.

Some more techniques are always keep an eye contact with the audience as it will be difficult for the audience to get connected with the speech if you dont make eye contact. Don't Don't deviate from the topic every now and then. Try to keep it engaging and make. Short speech. Tell a story as an example. Most importantly practice your speech.

I will try to experiment it by keeping a story which is in a different mood. Rather than giving it as a serious speech ,I will try to keep it hilarious on a light note.

Ex: Like Robin Williams speech in Man of the year.
