There was this marketplace in a very expensive locality. Here the celebrities lived and shopped in this marketplace. This was on my route so I used to drive around from this place twice a day morning time and evening time. I was very attracted to this shopping complex, it was a small, comfortable and posh looking marketplace. I moved around the route for nearly six months before I could muster the courage to visit this market. Instead of the evening time, I visited in the afternoon considering that the place will be less crowded and the chance for any kind of embarrassment would be low in case I am not able to purchase anything. Initially, I was reluctant to enter any shop, I was just walking around the complex and the shops. But after a while, I liked a clock displayed in a gift shop so much that I entered the shop without thinking and to my surprise, the clock was not expensive at all and was well within my budget. I was so happy and relieved that I bought the clock immediately. Then I went to another shop where nice, expensive looking clothes were displayed. I enquired about the few of them but did not find it worth the purchase. By this time, all the walking and talking had made me hungry so I went to a cafe to have Pizza and coffee. Again to my surprise, instead of the compulsion to buy a whole Pizza, there was the option of ordering a single slice of Pizza. I was delighted at this offer.
My visit to this place was an eye-opener. Before visiting this place, I had the idea that this was a place exclusively for the rich and affluent but this preconceived idea was totally shattered. What I discovered was that the shops had a good range of stuff and on top of it affordable. From that point onwards, I am a regular visitor to this marketplace.
