1)The process selection is one of the crucial business functions. It basically implies the way wherein organizations decide to manufacture and delivery their products and services. The choice of right process type is significant for the success of any association as it tremendously impacts its capacity planning, layout of facilities , hardware, and structure of work systems . The products and services attributes which impact process selection can be recorded as follows :

  • Variety: How much does an product and/or services should be produced by the manufacturer?
  • Flexibility: What degree does manufacturing firm have in the production(offering) of goods as well as services?
  • Volume :How much is the normal yield of any product and/ Or services?

These three components choose the choice of manufacturing process.

2) Two critiques against the Optimal Quality Effort submission can be recorded as follows:

  • It makes the assessment procedure rigid.
  • It cots in terms of time, cash, effort, and other scarce resources.

3) The two solutions to mitigatethe Bullwhip impact in the supply chain can be recorded as follows:

  • Regular exchange of data related to actual demand of the products with all the relevant stakeholders.
  • Reduction in the quantity of tiers in the supply chain. This will help in the better communication and will assist with adapting up to the fluctuating demand.
