Expert Solution

The carrying capacity in terms of tourism sector might be defined as the maximum number of the visitors or tourists or the general people at tourist spots such as parks, monuments , attraction centres, outskirts shopping mauls a d various other tourist attraction areas so as to ensure the capacity of people that the area can accomodate results in no destruction, loss, waste, unhygienic situation or to any other factor including social, economic, physical eyc leading to the diminishing satisfaction of tourists or visitors and decreased motivation to visit again.
Therefore this carrying capacity plays an integral role in determining the development of the tourism sector in a particular region as it largely depends on the carrying capacitu as how the tourist destinations are well maintained, the facilities made available for tourists , the convenience vehicles , the maintenance of irresistible beauty , the control and adjustment of maximum access to the visitors so they don't have to wait in queue that can decrease the excitement or motivation of visiting these places . Carrying cost plays a useful role in determining how much there is a possibility of revisits and maximum stays.
Proper assessment , monitoring and control of Carrying capacity keeps visitors satisfied and increases the value of the specific place and makes the destination quality rich through convenience and other facilities . It enables to decide the appropriate and sufficient tourist activities and inflow and outflow of people that the destination can handle and accomodate. It also helps to prevents the attraction place to get depleted or detoriorated, and prevents decrease in quality experience of tourists. It also results in protection to local residents in the area.
If these factors are looked upon then the tourism sector can fourish a lot and can bring a lot of revenue in the long run.
Therefore it can be concluded that carrying capacity can not onlt prevent the environment of that region from any deterioration but will also ensure tourists stay motivated to vidit the place again and again in future thus resulting in tourism development.

The Steps that must be considered for environmental planning process:

The environment planning process is the process of planning in advance the necessary meadures that can be incorporated for ensuring the environment well-being before conducting any activity in the area that might result to any ill effect to it. The main objective of environment planning is basically to improve the environment conditions , prevent their damage and create social welfare for the locality.
Further environmental planning involves identifying the harmful or complex factors and hence coming up with a particular solution that could solve the problem or risk of damage before the complexities take domination and it might become difficult to control that.

It thus involves the various essential series of steps as following:

1) Selection Of a Planning Team

2) Environment assessment

3) Evaluation of environmental assessment

4) Identifying possible solutions

5) Implementation of Action plan (solution)

Detailed explanation:

Selection of a planning team:
This step simply involves to select necessary candidates that will suit the needs and work involved in planning process. It is done through inviting large amount of prospective candidates found suitable for job, having the required expertise, experience, training, knowledge, skills and knack at environment factors and then selecting best among them through interviews and competency tests. The team should be effective enough , vulnerable and flexible.

Environment Assessment:
The first step in environment planning process being the environmental assessment that aims at evaluation and analysis of the current situation and the monitoring of sorroundings. This assessment focuses on identifying the areas where damages are already done, t and how to prevent firther depletion or detorioration. It also aims at the identifying the condition of factors such as water availability and its use , air quality , forests , plantations, animal and their extinct species etc so as to suggest certain ways to improve these factors and prevent their excess use.
It also includes to determine the sources or causes of toxity , contaminated materials , harmful gases , wastes etc. The extend of harm in future that the presence of these sources will bring if continue to exist there. All this information or data is gathered and put togethet in a document for further analysis.

Evaluation Of Environment Assessment:
This step involves making use of extensive data collected through making the environment assessment and thus trying best to draw inferences from them and trying to interpret the data. This is done through hiring an expert or a proficient person having knowledge about how the environmental wellbeing. Can be ensured. This collected information is analysed and evaluated to diagnose the problem and complexities that currently exits and also involves projecting the future concerns or damages that can be prevented.

Identifying possible solutions:
This step involves thinking out of box , brainstorming and introspecting inorder to come up with an efficient solution to solve the existing problem , and preventing any further damage or depletion. The solution should be such that the environmental condition is improved and further development is initiated for further progress.

Implementation of solution or action plan:
During deciding upon the best solution , there can be certain alternatives , and it is important to compare all of them to choose the most feasible one in terms of cost, duration, resources involved, elimination of various toxic sources such as chemical factories etc so as to ensure least inconvenience to the locality.
The Action plan thus decided should be implemented after giving a good thought to eliminate all the factors of environmental deterioration.
