Answer-) The benefits of tourism development in destinations experiencing a decline in economies are as follows -
1-) Tourism increases the GDP of the country - Countries which are developing or developed and have a downfall in economies should docus more on Tourism because people from other countries visit the region and exchange foreign currency by which more foreign currency can come to the country and it will eventually effect the GDP of the country.
2-) Increases job opportunities - It is seen that destination which are struggling in economies, if they develop the tourism , more job opportunities open for the people. People visiting here will have various types of demand and to ful fill that many businesses and employment opportunities open and they give a boost to the economy.
3-) A Sustainable business model -The important benefit of the tourism business is that it is a sustainable business model where only one time major investment is done and people visiting here spend money to experience attractions. So, this business model becomes profitable over time and gives the economy a consistent supply of money.
4-)Gives a boost to every sector - It is observed that if tourism is developed in a destination, many other sectors are also benefited such as airline industry - people visiting will use airline to come in, hotel industry - people coming in will stay near the destination, etc
5-) Tourism help develop rural and isolated areas - Areas which are far way does not really get income sources from the developed destinations because the money does not reach there. If tourism is developed then, people will directly visit these places and spend here. By this ..the isolated areas will also grow and their wont be any middlemen between the people and money providers.
