  1. How do you intend to vary the marketing of iphones if you have identified more than one demographic group to target? Describe no more than 2 different target markets.
  2. Describe how important differentiation is to Apple's success in regard to iphones, and (b) the manner in which you present the marketing to your targeted groups.
  3. Describe your pricing plan/strategy in regard to how it fits into the marketplace and how it will be attractive to your targeted consumers.

1. How do you intend to vary the marketing of iphones if you have identified more than one demographic group to target? Describe no more than 2 different target markets.

Answer 1) Apple Iphones are the product that have many features in it, some might be old but apple serves them best like camera and battery and some might be new like new displays, new technology etc . so if there are 2 demographic segments example India and United States of America, the I would have identified customer taste and preferences in those market and then marketed my products as per their taste. Example for Indian market, in India there are many gamers and people love doing photography so I would have marketed my product as best phone for gamers and who love photography by stating other benefits as well. Americans are more prone to design and safety so would have marketed as phone for people who want safety of their data and a feeling of luxury.

2. Describe how important differentiation is to Apple's success in regard to iphones, and (b) the manner in which you present the marketing to your targeted groups.

Answer 2) Differentiation is very necessary because customers only pay for the values of the product and in the value will be less in such case customers will be going for competitive brands so in this case as per different markets different strategy should be made in order to attract customers. In India Xiamoi is number 1 company in term of sales because they sell cheap and affordable phones, so its very important for brands to indulge as per the countries nature. As told I would be marketing Iphone for Indian market as product for gamers and photographers and in America as phone for people who want to own luxury and want security.

3. Describe your pricing plan/strategy in regard to how it fits into the marketplace and how it will be attractive to your targeted consumers.

Answer 3) Pricing will depend as per the target market as India is a price sensitive market and customers over there have many options in Smartphone’s that is at ever $50 so in India market price of Iphone would have been set as aggressive and as per competitive brands and in America the price would be have been set as per what customers is paying for old Iphones plus 10% increment this year, the old trend of price plus this years additional amount.

4 Explain what would you do if immediately after initiating the marketing of Apple's product to the marketplace, another firm lowers its price for a competing product to your offering?

Answer 4) If such things happens then I will not reduce the price of Iphone because it will hamper the goodwill, I will launch a offer where the customers purchasing Iphone will get a discount coupon that can be availed on any other Apple product purchased with Apple Iphone this will satisfy customers and will increase the bucket size as well.
