Age - Quantitive / Ratio
Population- Quantitive / Ratio
Race- Categorical / Nominal
Gender- Categorical / Nominal
Explanation:
Quantitive variables :- are those which are numerical or numbers.
here Age and Population both are numerical hence both are Quantitative.
Categorical variables:- are those which are not numerical and there are two or more categories. example: Race may have categories like human, animals, plants, bacterias etc. similarlly gender have two categories like male and female.
Nominal variables: are those categorical variables where order of categoris is not important. example: Male and Female
Odinal variables: are those categorical variables where order of categoris is important. example: economic status where categories are low income, middle income, high income where oder is important.
Interval variables: are those numerical variables where difference between two value is meaningful. example: temprature, credit score etc.
Ratio variable: are those numerical variables having all properties of Interval variables and which include 0. example: weight, length. etc
