Psychology as a discipline has taught me a lot about how to live life by modfying your behaviour as per your needs. The foremost important skill of growing out of your experience and develop your conscious towards acceptance in your life is somthing which holds a vital learning for me. The theoies, specifically Maslow's and Roger's Humanistic theory are real boosters to keep one's willa nd hopes strong to achieve your goals in life. I truely believe, had psychology not been there I may have chosen some other field of study but couldn't be this nuanced and settled with my thoughts about life and learning through each passing experience.
My views on child development were clearly very basic at start or the very lame manner that how a child develops from infancy to childhood but various theories like Vygotsky's and Piaget's who have been the backbone of child psychology has actually been proven to be a boon in raising a child in the most functional manner and also that effects development positively. The concept of object permanence really was a facinating one for me and that actually made me think that how weird and beautiful at the same time it is for the experiencer and thr toddler.Such facts and concepts always help in enhanced skills and knowledge.
