Mr Donald Trump, right from joining the office of USA's
President has been very optimistic and dedicated towards the growth
and development of USA's businesses and industries. This was the
general thought of people even before Mr Trump became the president
that he will be pro-business as he is a businessman himself and has
a very positive attitude towards business and other such
activities.
Actions of Trump administration:
- The H1-B Visa Issue- As the Trump
administration has stopped issuing H1-B visas which in turn will
stop people from other country take up jobs in the USA and will
open an opportunity for Americans, the American employees thus will
get more jobs as well as more pay because the companies will not
have someone to replace the American talent.
- The Vision towards "Buy American and Hire
American": As Mr Trump himself is very vocal about "Making
America Great Again" the first agenda which he has in his mind was
to promote people to purchase goods manufactured in the US and
later he added that American companies should hire the workforce
from the American citizens.
- Ban on Chinese Goods: As People's Republic of
China has emerged as an economic superpower on the world horizon it
has started challenging the position of United States in the world
economy, keeping that in mind the Trump administration has banned a
few of the Chinese goods into US, China has also retaliated in the
same way by banning American products in its territory. This order
will promote the companies in the United States to produce more
which in turn will require more people for its operations thus the
jobs will be created in the US economy.
- Reforms: The Trump administration is looking
to reform the economy to promote the business i the country. The
rules and regulations are lessened from the side of government. The
companies are allowed to expand their business, this is a positive
move for the economy and will be beneficial for all including
employees.
- Deregulation: A wave of optimism is present in
the American business leaders, and it is beginning to translate
into the sort of investment in new plants, equipment and factory
upgrades that bolsters economic growth, spurs job creation — and
may finally raise wages significantly. The move to deregulate
certain things was expected from the new administration and it has
created a positive environment.
- After Trump coming to power in some industries, the Trump
administration’s actions will allow companies to engage in
activities they might not have been able to otherwise; electric
utilities, for example, might be able to invest in upgrading power
plants that run on fossil fuels, thanks to a promised rollback of
Mr Obama’s Clean Power Plan to fight climate change.
The all actions stated above seems to be positive and motivating
if seen from an employee’s perspectives, the American employees
will be at no loss although people of other countries such as India
and China who are working in the US may be affected due to the visa
issue. Their might also be a few job cuts in the sector where the
products were exported to China,
The overall actions from in my opinion seem positive and a few
things which the Trump administration did was required for the
growth and prosperity of USA.
