Gender plays a very important role in moral reasoning. But there is a greater difference in the reasoning between men and women.

It allows people of various gender to take decisions based on what is right and wrong from young age and also helps in understanding the way both genders approach the current life situations.

women prefer care reasoning i.e various needs and sacrifices while men prefer reasoning that considers fairness and rights.

Therefore, there are different approaches to moral reasoning between the two genders. This may be due to the different types of problems or dilemmas women and men face, not because of the way they approach the moral problems.

Sense of morality for both males and females right from young age can help them understand what is right and what is wrong.

for example, during the adolescence in schools and homes both girls and boys are given different training or teaching as there is difference in the way they approach moral problems and what type of reasoning they prefer. It helps them to use their abilities to handle ethical issues in daily life whenever necessary.
