1) The skulls might look similar to the eye but there are a lot of differences between the human and chimp brain case. Humans have a larger brain case than chimps which is round inorder to fit their larger brains. Chimpanzee braincase also having the noticeable ridges in which the neck muscles attach. The chimps brain is almost 3 times smaller than the human brain.
2) Human teeth is small and relatively regular in size in comparison with the chimps. Chimpanzees have sharp and larger canines in upper jaw that sit against to the premolars in lower jaw. Chimp teeth are large and used as a weapon during the threats.
3) Human faces are relatively flat. Where as in chimps, the face protrudes beyond the top of skull. Human skull has obvious forehead and chin, chimps doesn't have forehead and there is a brow ridges above the eye sockets. The chimps jaws are larger than the human jaws and also jaw muscles attach to the skull is different in humans compared to chimps.
4) There are only few similarities present in between the skulls of chimps and humans includes. * Dentition ( same number of tooth and their pattern). * Same bones (most of the bones) at same location but vary in size.
