1. There are three types of muscle tissues namely

• Skeletal muscles
• Smooth muscles
• Cardiac muscles

Description of above three muscle tissues as below:-

These are tubular, Striated, multinucleated muscles	These spindle shaped non-striated, uninucleated muscles	These are branched, striated and uninucleated muscles
These are attached to the bones through tendons	occurs in the walls of internal organs like intestines, uterus and walls of blood vessels	occurs in heart
Has the function of bodily movements inclusiveness facial expressions	has the fubctions of peristaltic movements in intestines, muscular contraction and relaxation in uterus and blood vessels	Has the function of pumping blood in the heart.

Characteristics of nervous tissues:-

• Nervous tissues makes up Central nervous system and peripheral nervous system of nervous system
• Nervous tissues are two types: neurons and neuroglia (glial cells)
• Neurons secretes chemical transmitters called neurotransmitters.
• Nervous tissues live long, cannot be divided and replaced except memory cells
• Neuron consists of axon, dendrites, cyton and nerve ending
• Presence of specialization at nerve ending called synapse

Functions of nervous tissues:-

• Neurons generates and carries out nerve impulses
• Transmits the message to other nerve cell
• Responds to stimuli
• Carries out communication and integration
• Produces neurotransmitter
• Provides electrical insulations to nerve cells and removes debris
