Actions speak louder than words, is an old adage that is very relevant even today. Many people speak a lot but when it comes to implementing what they told, they will give hundred reasons not to do it. It’s very easy for someone to say it but acting on it is very difficult. Some people out of emotional outburst, challenge people with words but later when they calm down, they go back and think why they made that challenge. This phenomenon could be assessed through naturalistic observation.

  1. Choose a sample population from a group of people from a college.
  2. Explain the importance of the survey and the scenario in the survey.
  3. Get their consent.
  4. Give simulated environments and how they will respond to those situations.
  5. Observe them in the same scenarios in a realistic situation without their knowledge.
  6. Compare the results.
  7. Write down the conclusions.

The hypothesis is “The importance of synchronizing words and actions” or “Do actions determine the real character of a person more than their words?” or “Do people act on their words”.
