Explain Michaelis-Menten plots and demonstrate how to calculate Km, kcat, and catalytic efficiency.
Michaelis menten plot is one of the best model of enzyme kinetics. Enzymes bind to substrate and further it converted the substrate into a product. This reaction can be represented as given below:

In this question Vmax depicts the maximum velocity, [S] depicts the concentration of substrate and Km represent the Michaelis constant. Km is the concentration of substrate at 50% of maximum velocity.
