Robotics and machine is one of the trending element in the technology environment which impacts food and the beverage industry favorably. Food restaurants uses robots and machines from preping food to serving food to customers. Restaurants uses robots and machines for cutting, chopping, mixing, packaging, taking and serving orders. The use of machines help restaurants to reduce down thier business cost by increasing food life and safety of food by keeping them fresh.

I believe this is just a start and will go long run. "The number of robots in the European food industry is well over 30,000, while the number of robots per 10,000 employees rose from 62 in 2013 to 84 in 2017."(Nicole Martin,2019).I believe that food and beverage industry will increase use of robots and machines.

This is an opportunity to the food and beverage industry because the use of robots and machines will help the firms in the industry to cut down cost, increase productivity and provide enhanced customer experience. Robots and machines run 24/7, provide consistent results and reduce chances of food wastes.

here are some examples of how machines and robots are used in the industry. A california restaurant called creator uses Rube Goldberg-esque machine to prep hamburger like grinding beef, frying patties, toasting buns, dispensing condiments and assembling burgers.this lower the cost of business as compared to cost involved by humans.

second example is Briggo a cafe which uses robot baristas. Customers order thier coffee or various coffee-based drinks via app or using tablets at Briggo’s "Coffee Haus" kiosks, where the drinks are made entirely by machine. When orders are ready, it's just a matter of tapping a button, grabbing your beverage and sipping.( Gordon Gottsegen,2020).

Robots and machines also reduces the chances of having inuries at work. for example- robots and machines can be used to butcher meat which could have increase the risk of employee injury if employees are to do that.

I conclusion, Robotics and machines are changing the way and operations done in food and beverage industry in favorable manner.
