It was working for an MNC. In Background Verification department. Basically I used to handle a team of 10 People who had expertise in various domains. Initially, everything was good and running as per the process. In September 2019 we received a new project in which we had to complete background verification for 800 Employees. As we used to work for various clients. I choose only 4 which were really good in that team. So we had 4 employees to support 800 verifications. Each verification would typically take 3-9 days of time.

This project started a bit late and was in full swing in November. Then we had Thanks Giving day holidays and then everything was very difficult to handle. This verification process requires speaking with the verification agencies and also with the associates for insufficiency documents. This became really tough and due to holidays, it got even worse and then lead to an increase in the project timeline. As we could not add more team members to this project we have to work with the limited staff and time.

In this case, the First step is to ensure that my team will not get demotivated and at the same time, they work on their tasks and get them done on time. I ensured that they had sufficient time for referring to new guidelines and come up with new ideas to enhance the timelines. I always encouraged them to give their best an also supported in times of failure. Even I worked along with them which helped them to gain more confidence and they had supported me all the time. We set many good examples and throughout the project, I have awarded them with few gifts which also helped them to perform more. There are many options that helped and guided them to perform their tasks.

Finally, after all the team support we were able to complete the project with appreciations.
