In every workplace, inspiration is so necessary to sustain the morale and a healthy atmosphere. However, maintaining the motivation that greatly stems from how you filter information to your employees can be challenging. "Motivation" was my midname throughout my profession as a human resource consultant.In my previous workplace I was in charge of several sites with more than 2,000 employees. I've been wearing a lot of masks, the cheerleader, the confidant, the punitive, the decision maker, the message sender, and even the transmission of bad news. I even had the Union that would investigate and empower unmotivated members of the team. Motivation is defined as "the result of a set of internal and external forces which causes an employee to choose a suitable course of action and engage in certain behaviours." Motivation is an important factor of the workplace, much like communication, as it keeps the workers involved with their everyday tasks / activities and the aims of the business. Without motivation productivity is going down in the workplace and employees are starting to leave. In my current workplace, the director and managers are using several methods to keep the employees motivated in and out of the week. In this scenario, the organization recruits employees from a number of countries similar to the overseas sector, or from the same area where the business and industry are based. For example, a organization looking to open a Scandinavian business office selects the candidates from the Scandinavian region. The regiocentric method is used where the cost of recruiting a host nation employee is greater than that of employing them from neighboring area or parent nation. Regional-centric recruiting is a result of cross-cultural understanding among the new workers.
