As the magnification increses amount of light entering the lens decreses hence we need to adjudt the light intensity.

As the magnification increses, the field of view decreases.

Amount of light decreases as magnification increases.

Amount of light can be changed by either using light adjusting knob which controls the intesity of light emitted by light source in microscope or it can also be controlled by slits below the stage which will block some portion of light falling on sample.

Lower the magnification, the threds may appear simultaneously if they fall under the same field of view. As the magnification increases all point may not be visible or distinguishable under same focus.
