Factors that can effect Decision making in a project management are as follows :
1.Budget : The most common and very important factor which can make changes in decision making during a project. Projects having many trial runs which are sometimes successful and sometimes not, it also require many research to be carried out, many equipments or assets, etc. All these require budget. which is predecided and alloted. Manager should have to work under the alloted budget. if budget get increased, he /she has to give detailed reason and explanation which is very cumbersome and thus can effect the decision making.
2. Stakeholders: Many stakeholders were indulged in project and there are many chances of disagreement between them , which effects Decision of the project manager towards the work procedure or towards the stakeholders.
3. Demand: Different types of product have different demand curve during a particular time and to particular location. This all depend on the type of product and service which is being offered. Thus decision is to be made by the project manager as per the demand of particular product and service.
4. Objective : different organizations working on save project may have different objective and thus the Decision and the decision making techniques depend on the objective of the project set by the organization.
5. Experience: Last but not the list, Its totally depend on the project manager to use his/her experience & Skills and apply correct management techniques which is in favor for the whole organization as well as for the project undertaken.
