If we want to apply the simple linear regression in you real life for the future career then first we see what is model of simple linear regression

now using this model  we build the simple linear regression model for  future career

suppose if we consider future career / future salary is the dependent variable ( Y ) then the your future salary is mostly depend on the variable length of service in accounting, number of years experience in the accounting filed , marks in account subject in graduation , marks in account subject in post graduation , position at the previous job ( assistant accountant , junior accountant, senior accountant..etc) , salary of the previous job ,job location of accountant position this all the factor affect on future salary therefore this all the variables are independent variable ( exploratory variable ) i.e ( X_i ) using this variable we build the simple linear model and predict the future career / future salary .
