Expert Solution

Recent sexual harrasment claim:

It was a report from India which is regarding a child molestation happened by group of people inside a temple. It was all over the news channels and other medias and the convicted persons were intiailly supported by political party and they was not arrested. but huge outburst happened from public and medias and finally they had to surrender. Medias has played crucial role at the beginning stage to prove them guility and made them to surrender before the law. In that aspect it was benefecial but later on the media utilise the unfortunate situation for their media publicity and totally converted that to a religious fight. The molested child was a Muslim and those group of molestors are Hindus. Thus media tried to project the case in that manner and even social media also considered that as Muslim VS Hindu problem. Thus actual claims or importance of the case got diluted a lot. Actually medias need to be more focused on the real scenario and make it more precise rather than utilise the situation in favor of them. Sexual harrasment case should be addressed publicly without revealing the identity of the victim.
