Please answer thoroughly

Step 1 – Define and compare the terms species, population and ecosystem.

Step 2– Give typical examples (cases) of the terms you have defined above.

Step 3-Show the relationship between the above terms.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Species

The group of living similar organism has capacity to exchange gene through reproduction. Individuals in species may have same genotype or genetic pool. Species is the last stage of mode of classification.

Population

Population is a group of organism or species which are lived in a same geographical area and having capabilities of inbreeding. Population have same gene pool. Through the process of selection population may survive for a long time in particular geographical area by changing their genotypic combination.

Ecosystem

Biological community which interactive with their physical environment. In ecosystem a communies or specieses can interacts with physical component of that ecosystem for their survival. Hence a biotic and an abiotic (water, air or soil) system may interact to adapt the environment.

Ecosystem may have different gene pool. Because in a particular ecosystem many animals, plants, alga and bacteria are lived and dependent on each other for their survival.

Comparatively species have specific type of organism who are evolving from same type of ancestor, have same genepool. Population is a group of particular types of individuals among species, it also has same gene pool and evolve from common ancestor. Ecosystem consists of many organisms, it do not have common ancestor and genepool is different.

Homo sapience is species of human, a group of human lived in hot area (Saudi arebia) have same type of genepool they have capacity to resist heat and survive in that extreme condition better than other human population lived on other geographical areas on earth. It is example of population.

forest is a type of ecosystem, in which different organisms from different species are lives.eg. Trees, birds, predators, herbivorous, algae, bacteria, water ponds and rivers, fish etc. they are dependent on each other for their survival.

relationship

Individuals in a species having same gene pool makes a population, and different population in a habitat in co-ordination with non living component creates a ecosystem.

PLEASE ANSWER THOROUGHLY AND BREAK DOWN EACH STEP. THANK YOU!! Characteristics of Chemical Equilibrium The purpose of this lab is to investigate how changing various factors affect an equilibrium system. This lab consists of four independent activities. Each activity changes a component (concentration, temperature, and pressure) in an equilibrium system. Students observe how the changes affect the equilibrium system and analyze the changes using Le Chatelier’s Principle.
