The external control for such long-term care facilities includes public and private agencies. Both the public as well as the private agencies monitors and controls the operations of care facilitators to ensure that the public receive good service.
The impact of the influence of these public and private controls over the long-term care facilities may be different.
Public control: It is a government body it follows strict rules and regulation. The care home will have to face legal as well as social consequences if their report comes negative. It can be considered as government agencies and are bound to the laws and regulations of the government.
Private control: The private agencies are considered as the voluntary organization. It works for the welfare of the public being socially responsible. These controls will not be bound to the costs gaining in the evaluation. They have their own policies and principles while monitoring and evaluating the care homes. They are not bound to all rules and laws of the government.
