Strategic Human Resource Development (SHRD) can be defined as, strategizing the combination of HRD with the formulation and execution with a long-term view of Human Resource policy.
The strategic importance of human resource development is the changes made by people are provided by HRD initiatives through training and development which aims to improve individual and organizational learning to influence organizational performance.
