Biotechnology is an emerging field in the diary industry. The poetential of dairy biotechnology lies in the areas which include increasing disease resistance in livestock, sceientific way of feeding cows, embryo transplant technology, artificial insemination, development of new molecules and vaccines for prevention and disease manangement of animals, dairy enzymes orelse known as probiotics, food grade bio preservatives and many more. However, this is being touted as one of the most disrupting dairy technology to the future.

Some examples of dairy biotechnology products that have been been very important in the recent times are animal free ice cream by perfect day, livestock disease diagnostic tools by Advanced Animal Diagnostics, bovine gentics breeding by genus ABS India,etc.

Hence, by implimenting above techniques in the dairy industries of Ghana we can develop the diary insutries with the influence of biotechnology.
