The ACA has undertaken many health care initiatives such as Oral Health activities, immunization, Health Center appropriations, better diabetes care, congenital heart diseases programs, etc.

Out of these one of the initiatives that should continue and taken more seriously is the 'Young Women's Breast Health Awareness' This initiative mandates the creation of a national breast cancer awareness campaign targeted at young women. The ACA has included multiple provisions to increase cancer screening and early diagnosis of cancer. Key provisions include new coverage options for low income and young adults. Brest cancer is eventually becoming a serious problem in the recent times considering the lifestyle of people and lack of adequate knowledge about taking care of oneself. There are many deaths caused by cancer mainly because it gets detected at a later stage. Considering the point that we are today at and the number of Brest cancer cases are only at a rise, this is one thing that really needs to be continued with and preserved so that the future generations are well aware of this and are protected in advance before something bad takes place due to the lack of knowledge or effective screenings. Health insurance coverages and preventive clinical services should be made available to as many women as possible.
