A study wants to know whether eating oat bran lowers serum cholesterol level. Suppose eight people participate the study. The participants are given the diet of corn flake for two weeks and the cholesterol levels are measured. Then the participants are given the diet of oat bran for two weeks and the cholesterol levels are measured. The results are in the following table:

(a) What are the populations?
(b) At α = 0.1 level of significance, is there evidence that the population mean cholesterol level after eating corn flake is higher than that of oat bran?
(c) Identify the type of error for your conclusion. If it is type I error, find the probability of error and probability of confidence?
What is type one error??? Null hypothesis is accepted.. Is it really an example of type one error? Think all those matters.
If you will face any difficulties you can ask me.
