Today’s business organization has changes a lot from earlier times. Now, the structure is more complex and cognitive. It is not restricted to few departments and relationships only rather more of team based and collaborative efforts are required which demands flat and open network business structure. Today, business is now more dependent on social skills which demands more interaction among employees and external world and is not restricted to inside business operations only. Work demands more competitive advantage and technology based inventions which also effects the organization structure. The most significant change in organization structure is less hierarchical structure and more flexible structure with free decision authority. In changing dynamic and competitive environment, organizational structure today are reorganise according to situations and job profiles. Increasing work pressures and objective of customer focused ‘lean approach’ has made the organization structure more focused on building blocks and working in teams, less boundaries and continuous change.
