Metal is one of the most used Material Category and its components that have Interesting Technology in the fields of Materials Science And Engineering (MSE). Metals are materials like iron,steel,nickel,aluminum and copper.They tend to be shiny,strong and usually require high temperature to melt. It is easily available on earth's surface. It can be further split into ferrous metals like iron,stainless steel & carbon steel and non-ferrous metals like aluminum,copper & nickel.

Material science is a highly active area research.In this department research on nano materials,Bio materials,optical & magnetic materials.Metal is related to MSE because metal is types of material science and also we know that material science is a part of engineering in which study about materials properties,structure & design.

It is of interest to me because nowadays metal is used for everything likes aluminium foils are used for packaging medicines,chocolates,decorating medicines etc.Iron,copper and aluminium metals are used for making cooking utensils.Aluminium metal is used for making electric cables and over-head electric transmission line.

It might help society because metals uses are directly depends on its properties and qualities.For examples:-Shiny metals such as copper,silver and gold are often used for decorative arts,jewelry and coins. High strength metal such as stainless steel are used to build structure,ships and vehicles.Light weight metals such as aluminium is used in huge variety of products including cans,foils,kitchen utensils,window frames and aeroplane parts. Specific quality iron such copper is good for use of electric wiring and over-head electric transmission line.
