FACTORS TO BE CONSIDERED WHILE CHOOSING A FLOW SENSOR:-

(A)PURPOSE AND ITS APPLICATION-it must be clear in our mind what we expect to accomplish from the sensor,what is its job in hand.

(B)ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION-it must be assured whether the flow sensor would suit the environmental conditions it is going to inhabit.The unique environmental conditions must be studied properly.

(C)BUDGET-Installation,maintenence and operation cost should be examined carefully.Once,we get a rough idea of the budget and we are within the desired expenses,we can go for the project else not.

(D)RANGE-the target must sit within measurement range of the flow sensor.

(E)CONTROL INTERFACE AND RESOLUTION-the type of controller interface and switching logic required must be known.The most significant changes which can be detected by the sensor should be known to approximate errors accordingly.

(F)COMPOSITION OF TARGET-The material composition to be sensed should be known in order to choose flow sensor accordingly.

(G)REPEATIBILITY-The variable sensed consistenly should be under the same conditions.Any change in the conditions may lead to wrong results.
