As per the case, the specialist area is teaching the students in college, faculty by profession. While analyzing the theories of behavioral management and pedagogical principles with respect to evaluate the effectiveness of the usage in innovative approaches and creative expressions in the profession. Before explaining the approaches and examples from the specialist area, here we explain the pedagogical principles and theories of behavior management.
Pedagogical Principles
The core pedagogical principles explain the learning environment, where focused on teaching-learning methods and arrangements, relationship with pupils in the system, educational principles, and expected attitudes or skills. Usually, in the teaching field, the teachers are not often investigated based on the content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge. The study based on the teaching skills, classroom management strategies, communication techniques, and student’s learning scenarios. The method of teaching and practicing of teaching for the best interests of pupil, and how the faculty deliver the content of the assigned curriculum to a class.
Behavior Management Theories
The behavior management theory is always considered as the human relations movement, because of its nature of the human dimension of work. The core behavior theories insist the observer to understand the human behaviors at work time, like motivation, expectations, conflicts, and the overall group dynamics will improve the productivity. The behavior management is more about the strategies or techniques in which faculties can ensure their students make out the most of the teaching and learning prospects.
Approaches
The live classes demand effective teaching experience and self-assessment is crucial to evaluate the quality of the specialist area. The evaluation using the theories and approaches helps to value the effectiveness of the inputs.
For example: If a teaching experience is focused on the behaviorism approach, the teacher should be the sole authority and the leader who leads the class. In the college experience, always used to teach students in this approach.
In the teaching segment, the faculty have to link the creative approaches to the principles of pedagogy. It includes the inclusion, motivation, quality assurance, consistency and transparency, and innovative approaches. In the aspect of achieving better value to the teaching, the faculty have to consider the creative teaching methods of online approaches as well as the creation of a new environment for the students. In my approach, the model is clear and adaptive to the students with recognizing the technology as well as the importance of value-oriented learning styles. In the 21st-century learning approach, the strategies are drafted based on the four approaches like collaboration in nature, critical thinking aspect on personalized learning, creativity with using a plethora of activities related to curriculum, and better communication.
Example: In the teaching approaches, I ensure to add students to different clubs and societies, it makes both students as well as faculties to connect to the core content of the subject and create a personalized space for the students to self-assess the learning culture.
Evaluate the Effectiveness
The act of learning is always connected with the specific subject matter to be taught and recognize the interest of the learners is very crucial as a faculty. Evaluating the nature, pattern, and strategies of teaching help to grow the professional aspect of a faculty in real-life scenarios with students. The overall assessments based on the theories and approaches help to adjust the classroom conditions with the surroundings.
The other major approach used in behavioral management and the importance to learn the aspects related to the theories are important, because the theories of learning, theories of personality, and the theories of ideas uplift the insights of the person. Social constructivism help to blend the two priorities like teacher-guided and student-centered approaches, and a regular practitioner of the collaborative process between the student and faculty.
Example: In this approach, my faculty experience focus to concentrate on students and use them as smaller groups to limit the choices of topics for better modulation, alignment, and pair the whole classroom for the one agenda. It helps to concentrate more on small groups and multiple collaborations help the growth of teaching-learning experiences.
Always ensure to add creative and innovative approaches in the curriculum for the better connection between the faculty and students. The well-organized theories and approaches help to guide the faculties. The inner satisfaction and the non-materialistic rewards, and shifting the focus of students to the core of the subject.
