House wiring is a system of wires and switches such that wires are run through the house in such a way that various electrical appliances installed in the house can get electrical energy dissipiated through the wires properly and in the required amount needed by the electrical appliances. However house wiring is done keeping safety of the residents and the property in mind and the wires are covered by insulating materials which doesnt get heated and also can prevent short circuit.

The parallel and series connection of the bulb and resistor effect the function in the following way:-

1) in parallel connection, if any bulb stops working due to any defect in the connection, then also the other bulbs are not effected and they perform there work normally. While is series connection if any bulb in the connection stops working then every other bulb in connected will stop working.

2) in parallel connection the overall Resistance is lower then the individual resistance as a result the current became high but in series connection the overall resistance is higher then the individual resistance in the circuit and as a result the current is lowered.

3) in parallel connection the voltage is same for each electrical equipment. As a result of this every electrical equipment perform better. But in series circuit, the voltage is not same for each bulb from the power supply.
