Paragraph 1- Outline a general definition and description of matter. Include descriptive features (as applicable) about the physics concepts – dependent factors, relevant terminology, conventions, common units of measure, etc.
Paragraph 2- Summarize one or more impacts of matter on aviation operations.
Matter is any thing whic occupies space and has mass. The smallest unit of matter is atom but which cannot exist independently. atoms combines to form molecules which can exist independently. depending on the no of atoms present we have mono atomic, di atomic, tri atomic and poly atomic molecules.
In physics the quantity which can be measured are called physical quantities. e.g. mass, time, length etc. similarly the quantities which cannot be measured are called non physical quantities. e.g. beauty, happiness etc.
in measuring any physical quantities one should mention two important parameters that is magnitude and unit
A unit is a standard and internationally accepted reference in terms of which the physical quantities of same nature can be measured.
At present we have 7 fundamental units meter for length, kilogram for mass, second for time, ampere for electric current, mole for amount of a substance, kelvin for temperature and candela for luminous intensity
