AT work or in academic situations, how do you prevent someone else’s negative attitude and behavior from dragging down your own performance?

PREVENT FROM SOME ELSE'S NEGATIVE ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOUR FROM DRAGGING DOWN YOUR OWN PERFORMANCE: It’s very common at every organization or in academics. Because there are so many people with different thoughts and mindsets. There are both positive and negative attitude people in the society but where we are going and which attracts us more is also important. Because of their behavior other employees or students has to suffer. Sometimes these people will escape and drags others. The management should identify these issues and take action against these kinds of people to create a health environment.

AT WORK:  

  • If some ones negative attitude is affecting you, its better to avoid those people and as much as you can try to avoid spending more. It’s always difficult to follow but at least try to avoid make a change.
  • If some one’s behavior is bad it does not mean that the person is bad it’s only the behavior of that person. If you can identify that behavior, and have aide about behavior does not change your attitude than you can put that in other perspective.
  • Always acknowledge of other's sad stories which often try to influence you. Don’t agree to that just show your empathy or sympathy towards them. Their stories impact negative influence on your attitude.
  • Don’t bother about them bothering will make you change your perception towards them. So always be positive and concentrate on your work so that could not affect at any level of your performance.
  • Every organization only intention to avoid any these kind of issues that spoils the work environment. For that reason organization will do a thorough background check in order to stop the issues that can face after the recruitment.
  • When these negative atmosphere spreads at workplace the interest among others will really impact
  • The work culture disturbs and influences others not to perform
  • Their behavior sometimes brings the entire team in trouble and team performance comes down.
  • Basically these people are strictly monitored and trained to avoid negative attitude and warn accordingly
  • It’s always recommended not to be influenced with any others at work place
  • Its you are responsible for your own performance up and down
  • You are answerable for your own performance. So better not to involve or move with the people with negative behavior.
  • One should always guard from these persons attitude. Because negative will always have more impact than the positive attitude.
  • The spread of negativity at work place will really impacts the performance. It always drags you down your own performance .So always be cautious about these people and try to avoid not to involve more with them.
