The work I usually avoid because of lack confidence is driving. I have always been indecisive, needing the support of others before making a decision to drive. My lack of confidence was the reason I have failed multiple times in the on-road driving test. I use to pass my written driving test, but each time I had to appear for the on-road driving test my fear of meeting an accident made me fail the fail the driving test.

I am a mature person of 42 years who is trying to learn driving, so I am not confident about my reflexes while driving. I am always too scared to drive on the road with vehicles speeding past me. I get nightmares of meeting an accident; while driving. This loss of confidence has made me dependent upon others for my day to day activities, which is further adding to my loss of confidence in myself. I have to depend on others for going to work, hospital and groceries and all this makes me feel too low. Thus unless and until I gain control over my fear and start driving I will not become a confident and Independent person in life.
