One of the most difficult decisions in my life that I had to face was probably the time when I had to choose between staying with my parents or my grandparents. We lived in the outskirt of the city and was quite a contented family when we all lived as a joint family. However, things took a turn when my dad was posted to the main town and traveling impacted his health. That is when they decided to move to the city, and I was given a choice to either stay with my grandparents or move with my parents. I was in a dilemma because I was very close to them. The thought of not able to live together was torturing enough, but in addition, I had to choose between them.

I was only 12 years at the point of time and I the decision was a very tough one for me. However, I choose to move out with my parents and decided to visit my grandparents during holidays. One of the main reasons for the decision was that I did not want to grow up without my parents, which was the fate of a friend close to me. And the sorrows she had to grow through was something I was not ready for. Secondly, moving to the city would give me a better education and I would have more opportunity to explore. I would not have had any issues to stay in the countryside also, but if I had the option I would rather choose the city. Lastly, since I can still visit my grandparents for holidays I was much relieved. Taking all this into consideration I moved to the city with my parents.
