Action is the multifunctional protein which is found in eukaryotes, it forms the microfilaments.
The monomeric subunit forms of protein..The G filament and F filament. The G filament is called globular and it is a monomer and F filament is called Filamentous which is polymer. They represent the functionality in terms of mobility and cell division. The action also help in muscle contraction, cell signalling and orgnelle movement.
The actin amino acid sequence is most conserved with no big difference between algae and human sequence formations, it has little change over the course of evolution.
Myosin is action related protein, the myosin interacts with action which is coupled with hydrolysis of ATP conformational change making the myosin and action movement, related movements.
The structure of myosin is made of head, neck and tail.
The head binds to filamentous actin, causing ATP hydrolysis to generate force
The neck domain acts as linker forming the regulatory functions
The tail domain interacts with other cargo molecules or myosin sububits maintains the motor activity.
The below picture shows the relationship between actin and myosin unit.
