how does Sternberg synthesize his theory of intelligence, a theory of love, and love as a story work into a whole?
Sternberg’s theory is also known as Sternberg’s triarchic theory of intelligence had been formulated Robert J sternberg. According to sternberg, intelligence is defined as the way in which an individual could deal with the changes in the environment, throughout the life span of the person. This theory has three major parts, compenential part, experiential part and the practical component of intelligence. SterNberg derives his theory stating that processing of information would include three sub theories of analytical, creative and practical component. In his article, sternberg makes a conclusion that according to him, if a couple would be having compatibility as well as would have a triangle and stories of love amongst themselves, and the couple would be sharing the same amount of wisdom and level of intelligence, then it is doomed that a couple would be having a healthy relationship. The purpose of Sternberg’s synthesis was that he thought that love is a complicated phenomena and he wanted to realise and understand every aspect of it. As he was able to come up with this synthesis, he was able to define love and what a healthy relationship is, though every relationship is unique in itself.
