Is it necessary to be religious in order to be moral? If so, why? and is it further necessary to be a member of any particular religion in order to be moral? If not, why not? and what role should religion play in morality if it's not necessary for it?
Religion is what teaches us how to be moral so from this point
of view it is necessary to be religious in order to be moral.
Religion is what we have always been taught since our childhood and
religion makes us spritiual. Morality teaches us what is right and
wrong and morality comes from our spirituality. Morality is Defined
by our basic teachings, by our behaviour and by our decisions for
what is right and what is wrong.
It is not necessary to be a member of particular religion in order to be moral because only religion teaches us morality it is nowhere defined as which religion teaches us morality. Religion is a Universal concept and it is divided only by human beings only for their own convenience otherwise there is no particular religion which teaches us morality.
Religion always plays a crucial role in morality but if it is further the asked what role should region play in morality then, religion should be Universal and should teach the morality on Universal basis. Religion should define morality same for all and there should not be change of definition of molarity with the change of religion.
