How does inserting parts to form subassemblies save time in documenting designs?

How does inserting parts to form subassemblies save time in documenting designs?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Documenting design is creating a list of parts that are required to complete the assembly . For example BILL OF MATERIALS. In this regard I inserting parts to from subassemblies save time in documenting design because it follows the hierarchy in the assembly which includes all the parts very precisely . And inserting parts to from subassemblies includes even minor parts in the assembly and the time taken will be less . If we don't follow the hierarchy of inserting parts to from subassemblies then some of the parts may be missed during documentation and the time taken will be more because random searching parts takes more time than a hierarchy of parts, subassemblies.
